The "Family" series deals with family connections and emotions such as love, acceptance, compassion, humor, and playfulness. These emotions are presented in a symbolic and abstract way.

 

Part of this series was selected for exhibition at the Florence Biennale, October 2021.

The circular shapes symbolize parenthood, the safeness of mother and family, and the ability to deal with hardship and grow

out of this round, nurturing space.

The colors and shapes represent the ability of both children and adults to be resilient and experience the world as an optimistic and giving place.
